EXHIBIT HALL SCHEDULE CHANGES

As announced in the previous Exhibitor Update, DMA has revised the overall schedule of events, starting with the exhibit hall hours on Sunday, October 12. Please note the following exhibit hall hours for DMA08.

10:00 am – 5:00 pm
10:00 am – 5:00 pm

With the hall closing earlier on both Sunday and Monday, exhibitors now have more opportunities to schedule evening networking events with customers.

Plus we are adding traffic-building events in the exhibit hall including prize drawings and entertainment. Listed below are the dedicated exhibit hall hours – 6+ hours when no conference sessions or other conference functions will take place.

PRIVATE EXHIBITOR EVENTS

There are many opportunities during DMA08 to “mix and meet” with conference attendees – on the show floor, in conference sessions, over lunch and impromptu meetings. Many exhibitors also host events, whether these are small meetings with customers or private receptions/dinners. We know exhibitors want to maximize their time with attendees; however it is in the interest of all exhibitors that conference attendees not be asked to choose between spending their time at the convention center or at an offsite meeting or event.

With this in mind, DMA is re-instating the policy regarding space release requests at hotels within the DMA block. DMA will not authorize events that conflict/compete with the official conference program and will not release space at the official conference hotels for that purpose.

CSI, our registration vendor, has sent emails out to the primary contact at each exhibiting company with your user name and password for online badge registration. Only you, the main contact for your company, have this information right now. If individual staff from your company plan to register on their own please let them be aware of the assigned user name and password for your company:

Through the online registration system, exhibitors have the ability to:

  • Add new registrations
  • Check to see who from your company is already registered
  • Make corrections/changes/cancellations to existing registrations

REMINDER! Your space application confirms your company as an exhibitor in DMA08. Badge registration for staff is a separate process.

  • For every 100 square feet of booth space, exhibitors are entitled to 3 complimentary and up to 2 paid Exhibitor badges. If you have additional staff attending just to work as booth personnel, there is the “Exhibitor Hall Only” badge available at $150 per person.   • For registrations received by September 12th, badges will be mailed to the designated Primary Contact. Registrations received after September 12th will be available for pick up at the Exhibitor Registration Counter at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

EXHIBITOR SERVICE KIT

Freeman will again be the general services contractor for DMA08. They are in production of the online service kit and all exhibitors will receive an email notification when the online kit is posted. Once the kit is “live” (target date is mid-May), you may access the information on Freeman’s web site – www.myfreemanonline.com – plus a link to the online kit will be posted on the Exhibitors page of the DM08 web site. Your kit will include details on shipping materials, ordering electrical and Internet services, labor guidelines and general show information.

DATES TO REMEMBER

Please mark your calendars with the following important deadlines and dates:

  • Final payments are due July 11, 2008. Invoices will be sent mid-May.

  • Exhibitor listing updates for inclusion in the Conference Directory: August 29, 2008. Information will be sent shortly with details on how to update your listing on the DMA08 web site.

  • Roster Listing (list of registrants’ names) deadline is September 6, 2008.

  • Reserve your hotel rooms for DMA08 by September 10, 2008, to receive the guaranteed Conference rates.

  • Pre-Show Attendee List will be available after September 15, 2008. An order form to request the list will be included in the online service kit.

  • Advance registration will close October 2, 2008.

  • Exhibitor move-in officially begins on Thursday, October 9th. A target move-in schedule will be included in the online service kit. All exhibits are to be set by 6:00pm on Saturday, October 11th.
